How a mama buys 15 minutes of free time.

Sorry it has been a long time!  Life is busy when you have a social toddler to entertain.  Last weekend we treated Petunia to the Sesame Street Live show.  Hilarious how priorities change from scoring great seats to a Silversun Pickups concert to ensuring your toddler gets the best view of furry, oversized Public Broadcast Television characters singing "Sunny Day".  Even more ironic is how much happier it makes you to watch your toddler giddy with excitement, unable to control the urge to dance along with said furry characters; more than any rock band could attain.  This week I also learned a new method of buying 15 minutes of free time in the morning to: dry hair, shower, put on make up, throw in a load of laundry, unload the dishwasher without extra "help", check emails...or all of these at the same time.

Pic 1: How fitting is it that the first time she actually recognizes and says "Elmo" was just prior to the show starting?  Now she yells his name every time she catches glimpse of the red guy.  Didn't get any more pics unfortunately; the lighting was really dark in the theater so the pics didn't turn out well.

Pic 2: Enjoying the sun at the park yesterday with all her buddies.

Pic 3: Taking a little snooze on the floor with Kayleigh last night.  They actually did this themselves.  The sun really zaps your energy when you live in the Pacific Northwest and have skin that parallels a vampire's.

Video 1: I think I should patent this method of buying 15 minutes of free time.  It's genius.
