Happy Four Months Camryn!

Happy four months little lady!  These days she is just so rolly polly, it is hard to get her to hold still for the monthly picture.  She was more interested in chewing on the paper than smiling for the camera.  Cute nevertheless...  Just now, while typing this, my mom hollered at me from the other room, where Rynnie was laying on the floor.  It seems she JUST NOW learned how to scoot on her back across the room.  Seriously.  I went in there and we placed her back where she started and within minutes, she scooted across the room again.  Time to put up the corrals.  Already.

On another fun note, we drove to Temecula to meet Auntie Lynsey, Auntie Holly, and cousins Max and Elodie for dinner last night.  It was so wonderful to see them all and for the cousins to meet.  We are sad to leave California on Saturday but super excited to see Kevin again back in Portland.  Not super excited for the rain.

Pic 3: Aunties and Cousins!

Pic 4: The other day we did some more swimming.  Does this bikini make me look fat?

Pic 5: I LOVE these shades!

Pic 6: So does Mommy!

Pic 7: Grandpa Jewell feeding me some milk.  Not too much though...it's bikini season afterall.

On Vacation!

I apologize for the lapse, but we have been BUSY swimming, sunning and golfing in Palm Springs!  Kev had to fly home yesterday and will be flying to Atlanta tomorrow for Crown Plaza GM training and a Braves game!  Ryn and I are staying here all week to soak up the sun (and sunscreen) while he is away.  Here is our vacation in pictures.

Pic 1: Kev at PDX ready to fly to California.

Pic 2: Camryn ready for takeoff.  The plane wasn't full so they gave us an extra seat for her carseat.

Pic 3: Camryn at takeoff (and the rest of the flight).  The sound of the engines knocked her out.

Pic 4: We arrived at Nana Ronda and Papa Jewell's house.  Note the red shirt they gave Kevin, it says, "I put ketchup on my ketchup".  Fitting.

Pic 5: The next day we played hard.  Camryn passed out in the living room mid-play.

Pic 6: We walked to the golf course to watch Daddy play and have lunch with "the girls".

Pic 7: Girls girls girls.

Pic 8: Check out my cute skirt.

Pic 9: Hello California!

Pic 10: "Nana, I'm not so sure about these sunglasses!"

Pic 11: Then we did a little swimming.  First we had to put the swim shirt with built-in sunblock on.

Pic 12: We are all fish!  Even Camryn LOVED the water (well of course she did, have you seen the child in the bathtub???).

Pic 13: No problems going completely under!

Pic 14: This belly must help her float?

Pic 15: Yo mom, I'm ready for another walk!

Pic 16: Finally, we did something special.  Remember this picture?

Pic 17: Well here it is again, only better.  :)

Preparing for our trip.

Flying to Palm Springs today for some much needed fun, sun, swimming, golfing and of course, Nana Ronda and Papa Jewell.  Here is how we prepped.

Pic 1: Helped mom fold the laundry.

Pic 2: Daddy and I thought of ideas to keep me happy while flying.

Pic 3: Um mom, I think you overpacked a bit.  Where are Kitty and I supposed to fit?

Random picture assortment and a video!

Pic 1: Practicing my dance moves with Dad.

Pic 2: Whoa mom you're a ninja with that camera.  You caught me off guard!

Pic 3: Mommy and Daddy won't let me get a real kitty (said something about me playing in the litter box) so I'll snuggle this one instead.

Video: Blowing raspberries and showing off my shrieking.

Why are you laughing at me?

Spontaneous weekend in Seattle.

So we decided last-minute to spend the weekend in Seattle.  We had fun staying at Kev's old hotel once again.  It is amazing how much easier it was to travel with her this time, just one month since our last trip.  She can play with toys and entertain herself!  Kevin got to golf on Saturday and I met up with my friend Christa (from Children's Hospital) and her daughter Aubrey, who is just six weeks younger than Camryn.  Saturday night we went to a delicious dinner at the Crab Pot.  It was overall a relaxing trip.

Pic 1: Meeting up for breakfast at Basil's Kitchen with Christa and Aubrey.

Pic 2: Camryn fell asleep during the visit and it was too cute not to photograph.

Pic 3: Six weeks older but so much bigger and more alert.  It is AMAZING the difference between two and three months.  Note the drool on Ryn's shirt.  We should just start putting a bib on and leaving it on all day.

Pic 4: Even this Crab Pot bib is yummy!  This is seconds before Mommy learned to push all the dishes and utensils far away from the table's edge.

Trip to the zoo.

This morning we visited the zoo with Jodi and Lainnie.  Surprisingly, Camryn stayed awake the entire time and enjoyed just being outside.  Such a sweetie!

Pic 1: Started out all bundled up because it was freezing.

Pic 2: I love the giraffes!  They have long tongues like me.

Pic 3: Got to wear the sun hat for the first time today.

Pic 4: I was soooo hungry when we got home.  I ate my milk just like the piggies at the zoo.  Oink!

Pouty face.

We haven't had a good pouty face pic in awhile (because she loves smiling!) so here you go.  I love the pouty looks.

Pic 1: Why can't I have chocolate mom???

Pic 2: So how exactly does this thing work?

Playing with my best girl Lainnie.

Here are some shots from Lainnie and Camryn's playdate this evening.  Lainnie can't wait for Camryn to get big enough to wrestle with her!

Pic 1: Tandem tummy time.

Pic 2: Let's wrestle little baby!

Pic 3: Mom, get this monkey off of me!

I miss you sleep.

Pic of the day: Peaceful naptime.  I miss the days she did this longer than three hour stretches at night.  Just when you think you have it figured out...

Bathing beauty.

Well we recently starting an evening ritual of a bath.  Bathing is little Ryn's favorite activity and I wish all of you could see how her face just lights up when placed in her warm whale tub.  She kicks and kicks and cracks herself up.

Pic 1: Um, mom, what is that yellow thing doing in MY bath?

Pic 2: Okay, he can hang out as long as he doesn't mind my drool.

Pic 3: Mmmmm, bathwater is so yummy.

Pic 4: Ryn and I after my first "Green FC" soccer game.
