Place your bets, the stats are in! The four month pediatrician appointment was a success today. Dr. Smart thought she was a cutie (of course) and minimal tears were shed following the shots. We got the go-ahead to start rice cereal as a "practice" food (it offers no nutritional benefits, just teaches her how to eat with a spoon) and then to start veggies and fruits at six months. Thus, we might try the rice cereal soon, or we might not. Clearly she's not starving.
So...chunky monkey weighs 16 lbs, 5 oz (92nd! percentile), and is 24 3/4 inches long (60th percentile), and her head is 41 cm (50th percentile). She is one healthy baby and we couldn't be happier. And we are up a diaper size (which means another dreaded trip to Costco).
